Are You Selling Out Your Integrity?

Integrity in business is a quality that is highly under-rated by executives these days. Many executives are so “pushed and pulled” by a not so hidden force called the “profit motive” that they often find themselves compromising something that without which they could lose all credibility and trust from those they are trying to retain business from. chat ave adult

Isn’t it ironic that something (i.e. the profit motive) that is supposed to help guide businesses into the black often drives them blindly into the red? Why is this? Well it’s because often executives who run such businesses put profits above their own personal and business integrity. This treacherous mistake can easily lead one to ruin as has been witnessed in some recent scandals i.e. Enron, World Com, Arthur Anderson and others less publicly known.

As an Executive Coach, Psychiatrist and Specialist trained in the underlying emotional issues that lead to ethical dilemmas, I have witnessed that the main causes of such ethical tragedies stem from an executive’s low self esteem. Yes, you heard it correctly, “low self esteem”. Seems ironic doesn’t it as many of us may consider some of the stalwarts of the business world who run these huge companies as the heros of our age. In fact, when one scratches the surface of these CEO’s one finds a very different kettle of fish.

A key sign of this low self esteem is as follows. Just reflect on the gruelling pace that these executives keep, some working almost constantly and neglecting health, relational needs, family commitments and other personal needs and desires. Only someone with low self esteem, or a low self regard would do something like this to themselves.

Those among us who think that such a pace is normal, acceptable and necessary are likely to question my judgement on this. That’s fine. All I ask of those individuals is to notice how they feel about themselves. I might suggest that if they are sacrificing “life and limb” just to survive then that probably doesn’t make for a very happy existence. Does it? So how happy are you really? How happy are these executives.

Such a grueling pace and out right disregard for personal needs and desires is a clear sign of low self esteem. Often executives are so unaware of how badly they feel or how empty they feel emotionally because they are too afraid to feel such feelings. The fear is that feeling such feelings might cause them to collapse or to seriously start doubting themselves. Of course this fear is quite terrifying as it portends, at least in their minds, possible decompensation at every level.

Yet it is this same fear that is forcing such executives to drive themselves harder, to take chances that are riskier to themselves and to their organizations and thereby causing them to come closer to the brink of collapse anyway. Sounds like a “no-win situation” doesn’t it?

Well the truth is that there is a way out of this vortex. If any of this is resonating with you and you are sufficiently concerned about how trapped you feel in all of this then feel free to visit the web site below. Before its too late.

Vietnamese Painting – Brushing Excellence On Canvas

There is nothing more beautiful than an artwork that stimulates aesthetic pleasure. Such aesthetic experience acts as a catalyst to enhance our happiness. Earlier, the classical works of art drew heavily from nature’s beauty. But of late, modern art work chiefly draws inspiration from the mundane life of man. In other words, modern art captures both material and the spiritual on an equal plane. This trend of depicting the various aspects of human life is clearly evident in the paintings of Vietnam.

From a historical perspective, Vietnamese painting is not a very old art form. It’s been only seventy years since the first official art academy of Hanoi, the Ecole de Beaux Arts, opened its doors to local students. However, the cultural origin of Vietnamese painting dates back much further. There has been a consistent effort on part of the Vietnamese people to devote themselves in serious artwork. When the first lessons in line, drawing, anatomy and landscape painting were offered in the early decades of the twentieth century, the art students began taking inspiration from the religious and cultural background of Vietnam. These new learners of art sketched their native villages and fellow farmers in the canvas following the lacquer and silk traditions. During the French colonial period, the students of art took to painting readily as they already possessed the materials needed to create a painting. Once the means to convey their artwork was secured, the new generation of painters began to produce an amazing variety of exquisite paintings. The vision of the past has changed but even today, artists of Vietnam keep on drawing inspiration from the past.

Connoisseurs of art, especially from the West, often complain of the deep influence of Europe in Vietnamese paintings. However, it is surprising to note that modern Vietnam artists still prefer to paint in the age of digital images and multimedia! Yet, if we analyze closely the environment in which the Vietnam artists live and work, we would conclude that painting suits the sensibilities of the Vietnamese artists as it incorporates the century-old cultural and religious motifs of the people. Besides, this expression of art is most immediately available to them. The European touch in Vietnamese painting is by no means accidental, but deliberate. A majority of Vietnamese painters love and appreciate the Western art and hence try to apply some of their techniques in their paintings so that the world would look up to them and give equal weightage to Vietnamese art. The West has not inspired the subject matter of Vietnamese paintings; rather the latter conveys the intricacies of the cultural and social life of Vietnam. Vietnamese artists, like other artists of the world, are moved by their environment and have taken recourse to a delicate way to voice their sentiments through color and poetic imagery.

For a great many years, Vietnamese painters struggled to give free rein to their expression on canvas. Lack of opportunities and adequate funds had created great obstacles to the success and recognition of Vietnam painting. Scarcity of information from the West set their imagination free and Vietnamese art thrived with luxuriance. Overcoming all these obstacles, the Vietnam artists showed their skill to paint under any adverse circumstances. Their resilience and determination are clearly mirrored in the originality and freshness of Vietnamese paintings.

The History of the White Wedding Dress

As a youngster — or perhaps even as an adult — have you ever sat dreamily imagining yourself in a fairytale wedding dress, about to marry your very own Prince Charming? And, what colour is the wedding dress? The chances are it’s a white one. Millions of girls and women that dream of the perfect marriage have a vision of the perfect white wedding dress in their minds. But why white? Where did this tradition come from?

Women Haven’t Always Been Marrying in White

In fact, in the grand scheme of things, the tradition isn’t even all that old. The white wedding dress of today is deep-seated tradition, and for many is worn to signify virtue as well as uphold tradition. Millions — in fact billions — of women all over the world start thinking about the perfect white wedding gown before they have even found the perfect partner.

Britain is a place that is rife with traditions and legends, so it is little wonder that the tradition of the white wedding dress was started by the English Monarchy. It was the wedding of Queen Victoria that spawned the interest and popularity of white wedding dresses as we know them today.

Queen Victoria married Albert of Saxe in 1840, and wore what would then have been considered a flamboyant white gown. Of course, this did not start the tradition immediately; however, many women saw this as a statement of class and style, and copied the Queen by also getting married in white.

The white wedding dress in those days had nothing to do with being virtuous — it was all about wealth. Getting married in a white, extravagant gown was a sign that you could afford to buy a dress that you would never be able to wear again because of its style and colour (whites were not easy to clean in those days as they are today!).

Of course, women still continued to be married in various colours and styles of dress — it was only the vain and the wealthy that insisted on white to follow in the footsteps of the wealthy Monarch. However, during Edwardian times, the white wedding dress once more soared to new heights of popularity, as Coco Chanel unveiled its new knee-length white wedding dress, complete with extravagant train.

Even so, with the depression that followed World War I and the approach of World War II, many women continued to make do with whatever type of dress they could afford, and this went on for decades. Some women would marry in a short white informal wedding dress, which could then be dyed and used as an everyday dress. Again, it was only the fabulously wealthy that could really afford to splurge on an elaborate gown.

However, from the 1950s onwards, as the world watched Hollywood stars, royalty and members of high society get wed in stunning white gowns, the tradition of white became signed and sealed.

Wedding Dresses of Different Colours: A bit of folklore

As with many other things in life, there is much folklore and legend surrounding the various other colours that brides have been known to wed in. One old rhyme seems to sum up these notions:

Married in white, you have chosen all right.

Married in green, ashamed to be seen.

Married in red, you will wish yourself dead.

Married in blue, you will always be true.

Married in yellow, ashamed of your fellow.

Married in black, you will wish yourself back.

Married in pink, your spirits will sink

Of course, most people will think nothing of this poem, apart from the fact that each colour has been coupled with a meaning that just happened to rhyme very well. We all know that there are plenty of people that have married in pinks, blues and every other colour, and have enjoyed a long and happy marriage. And we certainly know that there are plenty of people that have married in white, who have not prospered quite so well.

Ordering Your Wedding Dress Online

Luckily, legend and folklore has given way to individuality in recent years, and brides now enjoy getting married in the colour of their choice. Both celebrities and everyday women have injected their wedding dresses with their own sense of style and personality, and we have seen women marrying in colours ranging from delicate ivory to deepest red and even black.

Royalty and high society still tend to favour the tradition of marrying in white. However, since simply wearing a white wedding gown can no longer mark their stature due to the availability of the white wedding dress, they now do this by infusing the dress with the most expensive silks, pearls and material possible, making it worth a king’s ransom by the time it is finished.

Luckily, we don’t all have to pay a fortune to look stunning for our wedding day, and there is now so much choice in colour, style, material and design that we can get married looking just the way we want — and without having to sell all of our worldly possessions to do so!

The Internet is a great source for wedding dresses. You can enjoy excellent value for your money and unrivalled choice, enabling you to achieve just the look and theme that you want for your special day. Whether you want a full-on white gown with all the trimmings, a simple and elegant ivory dress, an informal yet classy wedding dress or something totally unique in a rich, vibrant colour, the Internet will provide you with access to the perfect choice.

You will enjoy access to a wide range of dress styles online, including:

Traditional wedding gowns

Informal wedding dresses

Designer wedding dresses

Coloured wedding gowns

Gothic or medieval style wedding gowns

Short wedding dresses

Long wedding dresses

You can also select from a wide choice of material, so you can feel and look as stunning as you dare, and with the great quality available online you can cherish your special dress for years to come — perhaps even pass it down to future generations.

Finding the Right Piano Lessons For You

Piano lessons are an age old phenomenon, evoking images of old Europe in classical parlours where children were forced to play the leading composers of the day. Even within the last several decades, this kind of piano and music education has been passed down. Though there is no shortage of Conservatory programs to apply to where classical music and technique is transferred to kids and adult alike in rigid manner, there are tons of more accommodating options where fun is equally important to learning.

The key is knowing what you want.In either case, you want a professional who knows the instrument through and through, especially the style of music you are looking to play. Hopefully, they know at least a bit of everything, but if you want to play jazz, it doesn’t help that they’re a master of Chopin. This also depends on how advanced you are. So assuming you have played before and you have a history with the instrument, you’ll know more what you want. But assuming you haven’t, there are lots of things to consider.

You don’t want a kid who plays decent piano on the side trying to make some pocket money, but you also don’t want a virtuoso who won’t be able to relate to you while charging no small fee. The answer lies somewhere in the middle, and the degree or side you pick depends on your preference. If you’re starting out, they don’t need to be excellent musicians, just good teachers. There’s a big distinction. A good teacher cares, and they’re devoted to the craft and have considerable experience bringing various people from beginner to competent musicians and closer to experts. They’ve seen the problems you have and have a wide range of solutions to make sure you’re playing the music you love without it alienating you, or being overly frustrating. It’s a tradition, especially with piano, to labour and dwell on theory. There’s something to be said for it, and a certain amount of sight reading and background knowledge can definitely help, but it doesn’t have to be what it was. If you’re satisfied playing pop songs, or rock ballads, or whatever, that should be enough. It’s a balance between doing what you’d like to get accomplished, and what you’re motivated to do, and trusting your teacher enough to give him the benefit of the doubt-sometimes you may not think he’s in the right, telling you to learn something you don’t think is necessary, but afterwards you’re grateful! His job isn’t to oblige you every step of the way, but to teach you how to play an instrument. This may include learning things that aren’t immediately pleasant, but are important nonetheless.

Overall, your teacher must be someone you get along with professionally first, and personally second. Hopefully they have a sense of humour and can manage to keep you from getting frustrated on what can be a difficult road. It’s a balance between fun and work, but this dichotomy should be embedded somewhat in your teacher too.

The Incredible Hulk 2?

You have to give Marvel credit. They are putting out movies on their best characters on a yearly basis, and good news is, that’s not about to stop anytime soon. Next year we have The Avengers, the year after gives us Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, and 2014 sees the release of the sequel to this year’s Captain America: The First Avenger. So we know we’re going to see more of Iron Man, Cap and Thor, but where does that leave the Incredible Hulk?

The last time we saw the green goliath was back in 2008, in the Hulk reboot starring Edward Norton as Dr Bruce Banner. Whilst the movie was far from groundbreaking, it was a decent action flick, even though it lacked substance. To no surprise, the role of Banner was taken from Norton and given to fellow actor Mark Ruffalo for next year’s Avengers film. In my personal opinion, Ruffalo does not suit the role of Banner. When we last saw Bruce, he was on the run from the military, sneaking across America in his quest to remain hidden. If continuity matters, (and to Marvel Studios it’s meant to) how has a man who’s spent years hiding in less developed countries managed to put on a lot of weight and age considerably since we last saw him. I realise the role of The Incredible Hulk is often referred to ‘Hamlet’ in the sense that there are lots of different actor’s takes on the giant, but how can The Incredible Hulk be considered cannon if Bruce Banner looks completely different in The Avengers?

Which brings me to my point. If there were going to be an Incredible Hulk 2, the role of Bruce Banner would again need to be recast. Even if Ruffalo gives us a brilliant performance as Banner next year, he’s not suitable to carry his own Hulk movie. As Green Lantern proved, with comic book movies at an all time high, there are bound to be some bad ones, and if done wrong The Incredible Hulk 2 could be a bad one. The movie will need all the help it can get, meaning a new lead actor who can draw in the big audiences Ruffalo would struggle to do.

People criticise Ang Lee’s Hulk, but the one thing I liked about it was Eric Bana as Bruce. Bana’s portrayal gave The Hulk some depth and drama, which Norton lacked. A new Hulk movie would again need to tap into the mind of Bruce Banner, and how he feels about his inner monster. 2008′s Hulk got it partially right with Banner desperate on the run, but it needed to go that extra mile and when it did, it had its most powerful scene with Bruce Banner attempting suicide in the Arctic cut. Scenes like that would be critical for a new Hulk movie, as comic book movies need to show they have enough depth to succeed.

Lastly, and perhaps the most important factor is making sure the Hulk is seen as a hero. We’ve seen Hulk vs. the military too many times now, and hopefully The Avengers movie will put the green giant back in the hero shoes so a new Hulk movie can hit the ground running. After all, we already have a villain. When we last saw Samuel Sterns, his head was being enlarged by a leaked gamma source. The Leader is a great villain for a Hulk film, as he possesses the power to challenge Banner on an intellectual level, and the Hulk on a physical level. If Hulk 2 is a go, The Leader must be the villain.

Will we actually get an Incredible Hulk 2? I doubt it. I think Marvel will likely stick to their hot properties and are more interested in starting brand new franchises than reviving old ones. I would still love to see a new Hulk film. He’s one of Marvel’s most iconic characters and if Ant-Man can get a movie, so should Hulk.

Music Licensing

Music licensing can be a very confusing subject. My intent with this article is to give you enough details on what music licensing is and what are your rights to use music in advertising and / or video productions.

A few months ago I was contacted by a company that was celebrating 20 years in business. They wanted to put together a radio commercial that highlighted their celebration. Their request was to use Kool and the Gangs song Celebration in their radio spot. I explained to them in order to do this they would have to obtain a licensing which would cost them quite a bit of money. This was not an option for them due to their limited budget and ultimately they told me that they “went another direction” with their advertising.

If I had agreed to use this song without obtaining a licensing I would have put both of our companies at risk. It was not worth the risk just to make a sale. Beware that there are unscrupulous production companies that will do this type of illegal activity so the best protection you have is knowledge.

The copyright law protects writers of music by giving them exclusive right to their music. Once a piece of music is under copyright protection it is illegal to use it without getting permission to the owner of the copyright.

There are actually two types of copyrights in the United States. One is the actual copyright which is denoted with the familiar C with a circle around it. This protection is for the actual melody, lyrics and arrangement of the music. The copyright is usually owned by the actual artist that wrote the piece or their publishing company.

The second form of copyright is the actual recording itself. This is denoted by a P with a circle around it. This protection covers the performance of the song caught on tape or digital media and released on CD or other media. Many times a record or production company will own this performance right.

If you want to use a song in a production, you need obtain a Master Use license from the owner of the copyright and a Synchronization license (often called a sync license) from the owner of the performance of the song.

The fees for synchronization licenses vary greatly. Low-end TV usage (music is playing from car radio in a scene) can cost up to $2,000. In a film, the fee may be as high as $10,000. A popular song is worth more, possibly $3,000 for TV and $25,000 for film. A song used as the theme song for a film might get $50,000 to $75,000. Commercials can get even more money. Fees for a popular song can range from $25,000 to $500,000 plus per year. The typical range for a well-known song is $75,000 to $200,000 for a one year national usage in the United States on television and radio.

I think you will agree with me that that is allot of money and usually way over budget for many video and radio productions.

To get around these outrageous fees, music production companies sell buyout music. When you purchase a buyout CD you do not need to obtain a licensing to use the music. You can use the music hassle free and at a much lower cost.

Buyout music or royalty-free, as it applies to my products, means that for your one-time purchase price, you can legally use the music in your productions for life of ownership. All copyrights of the music remain with Zebra Music LLC. My jingle licensing agreement allows a protected area of 200 miles. By doing this no other companies in a local market will have the same jingle.

Many other production companies offer a similar buy out music licensing. I would advise you to read the licensing agreements with other production companies and ask questions if you have concerns.

Network broadcast and international broadcast of buyout production music is cleared through a performance organization (like BMI or ASCAP). The revenue that these songs produce when they are aired is paid directly from broadcast station licensing, NOT from you as a producer. These performance organizations then in turn pay each artist based on the amount their song or songs were aired on the radio or TV.

I hope this article has cleared up any confusion or questions that you have had about copyright and music licensing.

Reactions to Girls Kissing Girls – What Is Going On?

Over the past years there have been a lot of celebrities who do the girls kissing girls in a very public manner and have shocked millions of people around the globe. First, there was the Britney-Madonna open mouthed kiss, and then the under aged Miley Cyrus kissing no less than three different women on different occasions during performances and just recently, there was the Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson locking lips fiasco at the MTV Movie awards, with Johansson’s hubby watching from the wings. To think that Ms. Bullock said the she was great friends with the couple, it staggers the mind.

“Since when did it become a cool thing to kiss girls to make out with one another at parties and bars?” exclaimed one headline. The irrepressible Tyra Banks even coined a new term for the whole thing, she has called these girls as “Barsexuals,” and knowing how Ms. Tyra works, she actually devoted a whole segment of her show just talking about the entire scandalously hilarious PDAs. It did not help that Katy Perry’s song “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It” topped the charts for seven consecutive weeks, and despite the fact that the video did not in fact show girls kissing girls the lyrics definitely opened the floodgates of self expression for a lot of young girls and women alike.

The initial reaction people get when they see these is to think that the whole thing is funny, and then the dust settles and everybody screams to the high heavens of how disgusted they felt, or how sinful the whole world has become, some even called it immoral deeds done in the name of entertainment. Fact is girls kissing girls has been going on for the longest time and it is just now that people are beginning to hear, see and read about the social taboo.

Fact 1: women kiss girls all the time: women kiss their daughters and daughter kisses their mothers, yes on the lips!

Fact 2: we have to face the cold hard facts that there is a gay community out there and it is time to finally accept them. They kiss each other all the time and have been doing it for hundreds of years.

Fact 3: Love or hate them, women will continue to kiss each other, no matter the opinions of others. Period.

How to Be Happy in Your Marriage

A healthy marriage relies on the foundations of truth, honesty, honor, respect, and above all commitment. Couples don’t have a problem staying married, that’s the easy part! The difficult element of marriage is actually being happy and satisfied? Wouldn’t you say?

By answering these questions, you will find out how to be happy in your marriage.

1.) What is the purpose for your marriage?

2.) What do you believe is truth for your marriage?

3.) And where do those beliefs come from?

Many of us choose marriage because we don’t want to be alone in life. We want a lasting friendship/relationship with another to walk life’s journey with. That means husband and wife shouldn’t go wondering off on separate roads, but stay together on the same roads learning and growing together.

Many times that takes compromising with each other; giving up something YOU enjoy for the sake of YOUR spouse. This is how you bring happiness and contentment into the marriage.

So what is the purpose for your marriage?

Choosing happiness and satisfaction is a purpose in your life, is it not? It is something we all want. Who doesn’t want to be happy? How will you attain this happiness? What will you do to bring happiness into your marriage for your self and spouse? You can’t really expect your spouse to make you happy? Isn’t this asking too much of them?

If you require inner peace from another human being it isn’t going to happen.

So the answer is simple, really, you just got to turn the tables around. Your purpose for marriage is for YOU to bring the happiness, and satisfaction into play for both you and your spouse to enjoy, instead of relying upon or expecting your spouse to do it.

That means giving out a little bit more of your self than you already have, and doing that even when you don’t feel like it. So what if you do most of the giving, you shouldn’t be keeping score or you will never be happy. Keeping score keeps us under the bondage of our negative feelings. We don’t want that.

You have a big job ahead of you, but it is an important task, that should never be overlooked. It is such an important responsibility that not everyone can do it. In fact, most people choose to live under the control of their feelings and they remain unhappy and unsatisfied. That is why there is so much divorce circulating around in this country.

Remember this is your purpose for marriage, and it is not to be taken lightly.

What do you believe is truth for your marriage?

The selfish way of believing is living in the “I want mode” of thinking. This selfish pattern girdles on what you believe. Culture of society plays itself out with this kind of thinking. People are like chameleons, individuality is lost, and becomes one in its beliefs. A corrupt culture is formed through spiritual bankruptcy. It flourishes on selfish thinking and rebelliousness to the truth.

~~

Scriptures says in Luke, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight.” Luke 16:15

~~

Selfish thinking believes that striving for more money and stuff will make you happy? Should you continue to strive for more riches and status to make your marriage happy and satisfied? When will it be enough money? How will you know when to stop striving for more money? When you win the lottery?

This is how most marriages work. But most marriages are unhappy and failing. So what’s the problem?

The power of happiness and satisfaction lies within what you can do for your self.

~~

“Keep Your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, becasue God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13:5

~~

The dissatisfaction you feel is the realization that something is missing in your life; you’re just not sure what’s missing. Some couples believe the discontent of marriage to mean, they are no longer in love with their spouse, and so their beliefs make them stop loving the way they are supposed to love.

But what’s really missing from your life are beliefs built upon the foundations of godly wisdom, love and truth. It is not that you have stopped loving your spouse; it is that you have literally stopped loving your spouse! Your beliefs have created a way of life that feeds off self to survive.

I know these things because I couldn’t love my husband properly. I write about this in my new book, Journey on the Roads Less traveled. I took the most traveled road. I define that road as the road full of negative feelings.

The greatest goal and purpose you can attain for your marriage should to be more loving! To be more giving! To love not on demand or with strings attached, but to just love. But we cannot do that if we are living in self-based love.

We accomplish this goal by handing over the selfish person we are now to God and letting Him take over for us in the selfish department. Once this is done, we can learn to love others with freedom by giving of ourselves with no strings or demands attached.

Believe it or not, this is what fulfills your being and brings happiness and satisfaction into your life and marriage.

When you are filled up with the love of God, He will rid you of all the negative feelings that once were absorbed in your mind that were radiating onto others.

We need to believe in Christ’s love and allow His spirit into our lives by humbling (submitting), and accepting Him.

~~

“…That is why scripture says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6″

~~

You see, without a real purpose for our lives, a part of us is missing. We are needy, selfish, and clingy and this makes us unable to give of our self. When we love with selfishness, we place bargains and demands on the table with that love. This is not genuine love, but love that is confused and selfish.

Bottom line is if we direct our marriage under our own understanding of what we think and what our feelings say, the marriage becomes a self made marriage, ruled not from the love and wisdom of Jesus Christ, but from selfishness and worldly nature of man’s desires.

A healthy marriage cannot survive under those conditions and environment without much unhappiness, and that is why there is so much divorce!

We all want love and happiness, but it is the source of where we attain that happiness. That is the question. If our purpose is to have bigger and better things, then we know where to look. Those things are right outside our front door.

But if our purpose is to be happy, and to love others and to feel at peace, then it can only be found in one place. Your heart will find it for sure if you are genuinely seeking for the Truth and for the answers.

The source is as close as your mind will contemplate it, and as near to you as your heart will allow it in.

The word of God is a seed planted in your heart, the knowledge and wisdom is pondered, it grows until you become it, and are one with it. Understand it, use it, nurture it, and you shall be happy!

How To Survive A Long Distance Relationship – Advice On Feeling Lonesome

I was lonely when he went to another place for two years but it did not mean that I was alone because I had friends and family who had been there for me to get through with these tough times. It was a long distance love, but I overcame the feeling of loneliness because of some long distance relationship advice from friends.

Instead of crying and wasting my time, I sought for ways on how to make a long distance relationship work better than those times when we were still together. I did some extracurricular activities and participated in volunteered projects to make my time more productive and worthwhile. We cannot dwell forever on this ugly feeling of sadness.

One of the things that I did to release all emotions inside me was shouting aloud in a place where no one could hear me. It did help me so much that I actually equated it to a 30-minute crying moment. It was far better than crying because I saved my heart from any complications. It is the best long distance relationship advice that we could all learn from.

It all depends on our attitude as to how we deal with it. It is recommended to share our feelings to someone who we can trust because we can be more open to accept suggestions and advises; rather than sharing it to the whole world because it does not help that much but we only hurt ourselves even more. Thinking of it in a different perspective would make us move further in our lives.

Enduring a long distance love is a painful task that cannot be settled in a long distance relationship advice alone. Learning and accepting is part of recognition and transition of the changes in our life.

We will all be sad and that is the truth, but we are not separated emotionally. It is only physical separation but we are never separated from this special relationship. It is we who think that being apart is being alone again.

Tips to Impress a Girl

It’s not hard to impress a girl if you know what you’re doing. If it seems you are having a difficult time trying to impress a girl (aka lack of dates), you’re obviously doing something wrong. Hopefully after reading what we have to say, you will know the right way to impress girls.

The first encounter with a woman you want to impress, must be fun and exciting. You don’t want to throw yourself into a serious conversation right off the bat. You will not impress her when she thinks you are boring or too serious. To get a female to want to go out with you, she must know that you are interesting and fun to hang around. Keep it light and upbeat. Be playful and tease her. She will relax and be more “tuned” in to you. These are must dos if you want to impress a woman. If the conversation is going well, you will be able to pick up on the positive vibes coming from her, if she’s interested in you and if she actually stimulates your interest to take the next step to impress. By now you should have already figured out what she likes to do in her spare time and a good idea of an activity the two of you could do together.

Showing more emotion when you talk will definitely impress her. Would you rather go out with someone who said “I went out last night to hear the local band (fill in their name) and they were pretty good. Or would you rather go out with someone that says “I was stoked to go out last night to see this cool band. There were people dancing wildly, you should have been there the energy was so exciting. When the guitarist broke into a solo on my favorite song, I rushed up to the stage with my air guitar licks.” Hmmm…not a tough choice there. When you throw some emotion into it you have a lot more to say about it and this will impress her. It shows you’d be fun to hang out with.

When the timing is right (very crucial), you have two choices. You could boldly outright ask her on a date or keep it casual. If you were listening to her, then with perfect timing, you could casually say something like “you mentioned how much you enjoy bowling we should do that”. It’s not asking her on a date but merely a suggestion of doing something together.
